Our dogs are located throughout the state of Ohio and parts of IN, MI, PA and KY.

Love basset hounds? Love blood hounds? How about the best of both breeds? Harvey the basset/blood hound mix! 

Harvey is just a wonderful guy, he looks like a bloodhound but is the size of a basset hound

Harvey is a very sweet and affectionate hound dog that loves to be near his people.  His age is estimated at 8, but he is an active 8 year old.  He needs regular exercise (daily walks) to burn off his energy. 

He sometimes needs coaxing to go outside, probably fearful of being left alone out there. 

He needs to be the only dog since he doesn't want to share his humans and his human needs to be patient with him because of his fear of being abandoned.  He would do well with someone home most of the time.  

Harvey does enjoy having playtime with another dog he's compatible with.  He plays very well with the current resident dog, but doesn't want to share his humans with her. 

Everyone who meets Harvey falls in love with him.  He has no experience with children, but when he meets them on the street he's just fine.
