Puppy Bentley is available for adoption again through no fault of his own. His adopter said he was just a sweetheart but her dog was very territorial towards him. We had 3 approved adopters lined up for him but all have fallen through. If interested please apply at ohiobassetrescue.com. Meet Bentley! Bentley is a basset mix looking for a forever home! He is going to be a big boy as he is already 48 pounds at 6 months old! Bentley came to us because his mom became homeless due to a very bad home life so he lived on the streets with her for about a month. He was rescued by a member of the local court system. She says Bentley is a real sweetheart! He sleeps in bed with her and keeps his paw on her for comfort! She said he is a very mellow and affectionate guy, he does like to play with toys and chew on bones, and tries to get her older dog to play with him. He listens very well and is used to being around people, and she even takes him to work with her every day! He loves to ride in the car and will fall asleep on the way! He has also not had any accidents in the house yet. Bentleys adoption fee is $300 and he is currently being fostered near Akron.  he is good with other dogs, not cat tested but doesn’t pay any attention to the squirrels in the backyard, and will need a home with a fenced in yard. He has had his first round of shots, plus rabies and Bordetella, but will need another round of puppy shots in about a month. He is not yet neutered.
