Otis is a 12-year-old senior beagle basset mix who desperately needs a home to live out his remaining days in. Otis came to us from a very bad situation. He was basically living in a hoarding house by himself where he was left after his owners passed away. Another family member stepped in and brought him to us. Otis does have some medical issues that will require medicine for the rest of his life. He was diagnosed with Cushing’s and he will need to take pills for that, and he also has elevated liver enzymes. Otis is staying at our vet until his medicine is stabilized in his system and they have him on the right dosage. Once they are comfortable letting him leave he will desperately need a home he could live out his days in.
