Our dogs are located throughout the state of Ohio and parts of IN, MI, PA and KY.

Just look at sweet Rusty’s face! This 5 year old basset beagle mix has had a rough life so far!!! He was kept on a tie out and not part of a home. He was taken in by a local shelter who said he was just the sweetest guy!! He’s fine with other dogs and when he was walked by the cattery at the shelter he ignored the cats. Come to find he was heartworm positive. Rusty is in the middle of his heartworm treatment that will be paid for by OBHR so he will need to be adopted by someone who can bring him to our vet in Columbus for his next treatments and neuter at our cost. His adoption fee is $150. We would prefer him to go to a home with a fenced in yard but he’s been waiting so long that is negotiable. Please apply at ohiobassetrescue.com.
