This is Wellington! Wellington is an 8 year old beagle/basset/spaniel/??? mix. We are not entirely sure what he is mixed with, but we know it is a lot of love!!! 

Wellington is a true hound, though, and even though he is an older dog it would be best if he is adopted out to a home with a fenced yard as he will follow that hound dog nose when he picks up a scent!

Wellington is housebroken and a real love bug! He loves to curl up with you! He is very attached to his foster mom and would love to have a new mom to call his own for the rest of his days!

Wellington's new family will need to know that he does have some allergy issues that come and go, but hey, who doesn't? They are not sure if it is a grass allergy or pollen, but every so often he will need to take meds for itching and to be proactive his foster mom feeds him a grain free diet. He might not have any issues in his new home, though, we have found that some dogs will have allergies in some homes and move to new ones with no issues. It could all be environmental just like humans. 

Wellington would probably also be best as an only dog or a home with one other dog. His foster mom reports he is not an aggressive dog, but when her "grand dogs" come to visit he will growl at them when they get in his space.
