Meet Gertie! Gertie is a 7 year old female basset hound looking for a new family to call her own!

Gertie came to OBHR when her family had a new baby. They were very heartbroken over giving her up, but had to do what was best for all involved, and they trusted us to find their fur baby another family to love her to the moon and back!

Please consider giving Miss Gertie a new home! She is a real doll baby and everyone she has met at the kennel has fallen in love with her!

Gertie does have some jealousy issues towards other dogs, so her foster and forever family will need to be experienced with hounds.  She is an alpha dog and needs boundaries.

She is currently being kenneled in Columbus, OH and needs a foster or forever home!
