Meet Cletus! 

Cletus is a big old hound dog looking for a new home! He is a male blood hound, about 4 years old, and he is currently being kenneled in Columbus, OH. 

Cletus is a big old friendly guy with lots of energy! He will need a family with a fenced yard that he can run and play in.

Cletus was kept outdoors at his previous home so he will need some work with housebreaking, but his a big old friendly guy who is willing to learn anything for a family who will love him!

Update:

Cletus has been with us about 2 months now and is adjusting to his first time living in a home.  He is putting on some weight and his hair is starting to grow back. We have another large dog that he gets along with, a pig that he is afraid of and 2 cats that he tries to play with but they don't like dogs.  He is getting much better with his house training.  He has had very few accidents.  Only about 3  accidents in 2 months.!! Cletus loves his foster dad and tries to crawl in his lap every evening.  He just wants to love and feel safe.  He needs someone special with patience and understanding.   He will need a LARGE indoor kennel that will be his safe space.  I do not recommend small children due to his size.  He will need medication twice a day in his eyes for the rest of his life and someone who is willing to love him through his trust issues.
