Available for adoption! Bassadore alert! Jax is a 4-5 year old lab basset mix in need of a new home! Jax just came in rescue today so he still needs to get his vetting complete including a neuter but we would like to have a home ready for him to go to once the vet gives him a clean bill of health! Jax must go to a home with a physical fenced in yard with active family members to keep him active! We do not know how he will do around cats and he seems ok around other dogs. No young kids for Jax new family please. Jax is a very strong boy and was not walked much before. He is ok on the leash but he is strong and he pulls so he will need to be taught leash manners. He will probably need some refresher house training as he spent a lot of time crated or outside because of the family baby at his last home. He did not have a lot of room to run. But he is a very very loving guy and will catch on fast! Jax is about 40 pounds and full of basset drool. He has a basset head on a petite lab body. Warning: that happy tail wag is brutal!
