Bombur is a 10 year old male basset hound looking for a new home. He came to us with a large fatty tumor, or so we thought, on his rear. He went in for surgery to remove his tumor and do a dental at the same time. 

The good news is our sweet senior Bombur is expected to make a full recovery! His tumor was not cancer, it was actually a hernia that was pushing his colon up and intestines out. He basically needed his whole “output system” rebuilt. The bad news is, we haven’t gotten a total yet but we are expecting one heck of a bill! We will post a total on our Facebook page when we get it, plus he will still need to be boarded in the hospital for awhile. If anyone can help with his bill  any amount will help. NOW BOMBUR NEEDS A HOME! Once recovered he will lead a normal life per our vet. He is 10 years old and good with other dogs, cats, and kids. He does not need to go to a home with a fenced yard. AND thanks to a generous donor his adoption fee has been sponsored in memory of another basset at the bridge. He is located in Columbus.
