Meet Sassy! Sassy is a 3 year old basset. She does have some special requirements so please read! Sassy will do best in a female only home with no young children. She is a very sweet girl and a huge cuddle bug but she is fearful of men. She has been around kids with no issues, we are saying no young kids because we feel she will do best in a home that is quiet so no hyper or active kids that may scare her and not help her acclimate to a new home again easily. Sassy is fine with other dogs and may do best with another easy going dog who’s lead she can follow. She is fine with cats. Her foster does feel she needs a home with a fence so a fenced in yard is a must. Sassy originally came to us as an outside dog with several other dogs when her older owner came down with some serious health issues. She was adopted out and returned only because of her fear of the men in the house, her family didn’t think it was fair to keep her in a home that made her uncomfortable.
