Our dogs are located throughout the state of Ohio and parts of IN, MI, PA and KY.

Welcome Rupert to OBHR!  This handsome red and white approx 2yo boy is the kindest, gentlest soul.  He was found by a Good Samaritan lying on the side of the interstate.  She immediately took him to her vet’s office nearby (shout out to Animal Care Center Of Forest Park and staff member Rylie who connected him with us!) where they provided loving care for a month before he came to OBHR to find his new family.  Rupert is good with dogs and people of all ages.  He has not been cat tested.  He is an excellent car passenger and a very good boy for nail trims. He seems to understand housetraining, but like all dogs he will need patience and time to adjust to the routine in his new home.  Rupert currently weighs 49 pounds and could probably gain a couple more to be at his ideal weight.
