HellooOOooO! My name is Buddy! I was found wandering the streets in Southern Ohio Thanksgiving weekend. My foster parents came across me as I was getting ready to try to cross a busy intersection. I was a little shy, but when my foster mom said, “Come here, Buddy!” the name stuck. Nobody’s sure how long I’ve been roaming the streets. I was walking on my toenails, I was dirty, had fleas and I was severely underweight. All that’s changing now though! My foster parents took me to the doctor and he believes I’m about 4 or 5 years old. I’ve been given my shots, I’ve had a pedicure, the doctor says I don’t have heartworms (whatever those are) and I’m putting on weight. I’m also getting use to becoming an inside dog… I really like it! My new doggy friends are very nice and I get along well with them. I definitely like being around other four-legged pooches and having friends to play with. I’m very gentle with my human pals and I love to snuggle. I especially enjoy having my super long ears rubbed and give kisses to say thank you for all the kindness shown to me. Thanks for taking the time to read about me. Do you think I could be your Buddy?
