Meet Butterscotch, the two year old, 33 lb, basset extraordinaire! His previous owner could no longer take care of him, but it seems he was loved. We have his complete medical records, and Butterscotch has some training. This great guy listens well, knows “sit,” “down,” and how to cuddle with the best of them! His list of assets also include his sweet, easygoing, gentle disposition; Butterscotch doesn’t seem to mind children and likes other dogs. In fact, we think Butterscotch might do well in a family with another dog so he has a playmate. Although Butterscotch is young, and likes play (with dogs and humans), he is NOT a rambunctious guy. He is NOT a barker either. Butterscotch adjusted quickly and well to his foster home. His foster family is working on curbing his interest in items on the counter and improving crate training so he will be ready for a forever home.
