Jagger was found as a stray at approx. 6 months old. He was taken to the vet and had to have elbow dysplasia surgery on his left front leg. He then got kennel cough that turned into pneumonia. When they did the chest x-ray they have discovered he also has pulmonary fibrosis. I then took him to a specialist to make sure all x-rays were read correctly and the specialist says his leg looks good and is working as well as can be expected but he needed surgery on his right front leg. The vet said Jagger has arthritis so bad in his legs he has never seen anything like it before on a dog so young. Jagger's surgeries are now complete. Both legs had the same problem with the elbow displasia. All the bones in the elbow do not match up because of his bone growth. His elbows are bone to bone and he is on alot of meds.   Our adoption fees for Basset Hounds under a year old are $250, Basset Hounds 1- 8 years old $200 and Basset Hounds eight years and older $100. Jagger has the best personality and everybody at both vets just loved him. He is such a sweetie! He just rolls over for belly rubs. He seems happy and plays but after about 1 hr he has had enough and just lays down. He loves to cuddle in bed but can't jump down off the bed. Jagger loves other dogs.
