Our dogs are located throughout the state of Ohio and parts of IN, MI, PA and KY.

This beautiful boy is Roscoe. Roscoe was relinquished by his owners because they will be moving into a homeless shelter and of course could not take him with them. He is about three years old, neutered, micro chipped and up to date on vaccines. Roscoe was very scared when OBHR’s volunteers picked him up at the shelter. It took about ten minutes for him to be comfortable enough to approach them and be petted. After Roscoe felt comfortable he was happy to let them pet him and when they took him out of the shelter he ran directly outside and up to the car as if to say “take me home right now”. Roscoe’s previous owners stated on his relinquish papers at the shelter that he is good with children and with cats. They said he is an energetic dog who likes to play and loves attention. It appeared that he was kept outside during the day and inside at night. Although the owners stated he was housebroken we really can’t verify this until he can get into a foster home. At this time Roscoe is being kenneled until that foster home becomes available. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Roscoe please contact Cathy Rice.
