Our dogs are located throughout the state of Ohio and parts of IN, MI, PA and KY.

Sammie is about 7 years old and was the happy only puppy of a busy Mom for several years. When her Mom died unexpectedly, Sammie was taken in by a friend of the family who already had three dogs. After some initial hesitancy, Sammie adapted to the other dogs well. They all eat at the same time and though Sammie will happily eat anything left over in anyone else's bowl, she's not food aggressive. Her current home also has several cats and she doesn't chase them. She doesn't much like it when they try to be friendly and rub up against her, but she doesn't chase them. She's housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. She travels well in a car, and can use a doggie ramp to get into an SUV and can manage getting in to a back seat of a regular car via the passenger door without assistance. She weighs just over 50 pounds, and is in good health except for her teeth. No infections, missing teeth or gum disease - just lots of plaque - so she's probably going to need dental work at some point. Sammie is laid back and loves to sit on the porch and watch the world go by or follow people around the yard as they garden or mow.
