UPDATE

Lacey is now in a foster home and living the good life. She immediately determined who was the rowdy crowd and made friends with them. She is great with dogs of all sizes and personalities. The ones who told her they didn't want any of her shennagigans only had to say so once. She is a real love bug and really loves to be free with those puppy kisses. She is very active and plays very nicely with the other dogs. She is sleeping in a crate by my bed and does not make a peep all night. Lacey has a doggie door here and is getting the hang of that and the whole housetraining very well. She needs to move to her forever home quickly so she can learn the rules and routine of her forever home while she is in full training mode. Please apply to give this beautiful girl a loving home.

Here is the newest addition to the Ohio Basset Hound Rescue's list of available dogs. Lacey and another young female who appeared to be her sister were abandoned at the local pound. Her sister was adopted and the shelter contacted us when she was left behind. We don't know a lot about her as she just came to the rescue. As you can see she is super cute and seemed very sweet during her transport. I would think she is like many other pups her age with tons of energy and lots to learn. She weighs about 15 lbs. Lacey is currently being vetted in the Cincinnati area and will be needing a foster home after she has been updated on vaccines and spayed.
