Emmit is a young male basset hound looking for a home because his family had to downsize. His family hated to relinquish him but they felt it was not fair to him to keep him in an apartment where he was not able to run and play like he did when they had a yard. Emmit is a sweet boy who does fine with children and other dogs. He has never been around cats so it is not known how he would do with one. He was housebroken in his former home with the fenced yard but since he has been in the apartment the family has been using puppy pads when they are gone and taking him out on leash when they are home. This being said he may need some refresher training on housebreaking. Emmit will come fully vetted and neutered and will require a fenced yard. Please complete an application to adopt from the Ohio Basset Hound Rescue website (www.ohiobassetrescue.org) if you would like to give this young guy a forever home.
All OBHR dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, checked for heart worm and on heart guard and flea preventative. If interested in one of our dogs please fill out an application at www.ohiobassetrescue.com today.
