***Update on Louise**** She moved into foster care in Deerfield, MI.

Louise is a love bug, very gentle, very affectionate. She LOVES her humans and prefers close contact. If you sit on the couch she will immediately hop in your lap and give “hugs”..she pushes into you so you know that she is there. In general, she is a laid back girl.  She walks well on a leash, enjoys being in and out of doors and is fairly calm. She gets along well with my dogs and is house trained. I imagine more of her personality will come through in time.  She lost her family, and is looking for a new forever home-please consider giving her one. I am unsure how she is around cats but does not seem too uptight when the neighbor’s cat makes an appearance. She is a very healthy dog, no ear, issues, and no arthritis. She acts much younger than 9 years old!   *****

Meet Louise! She is a 9 year old female basset hound.

Shadrack, Albert and Louise came in together from the same home. They are not bonded and can be adopted out individually, but they are used to having other dogs around. 

These poor babies came from a home where their owner ended up in the hospital and the outlook does not look good. A neighbor was caring for them in the meantime and the owner decided to give them to us to try to find his little family members a new, loving home.

They are currently being kenneled near Cincinnati and need a foster or forever home.
