Brutus is a stunning tri colored male  basset hound searching for a new home!

Brutus' family will be moving out of the country soon and they are trying to find him a new home before they go. 

He is a very snuggly boy who loves to lay on the deck in the sunshine in nice weather and curl up in front of the fireplace in the winter time! 

He loves to go for walks and hikes and loves everyone he meets! He will try to chase critters he sees on his walks.

Like most bassets Brutus loves to follow his nose and chase squirrels and other critters. He must have a fenced yard to play in as he will follow a scent on a chase if allowed.

Brutus gets along great with other dogs and would probably be best in a home with another dog as he has lived with a beagle and a basset his whole life. He is is also excellent with children as his family now has 6 kids! He has not been tested around cats.

Brutus  is housebroken and crate trained. He is currently being fostered by his current family and any meet and greets will take place at our vet in Columbus.
